Meeting rooms at The Greenspace
The Greenspace has two spacious, private and peaceful meeting rooms named Kauri and Totara. Our meeting venue can cater for up to 30 seated guests or 40 for events not requiring formal seating.
Meeting rooms can be hired individually or in combination, for exclusive use of the venue. Whether your event is for business or leisure, The Greenspace offers both functionality and flexibility to meet your needs.
Each of our rooms is equipped with quality projectors and screens, large white boards and its own private, secure, ultra fast fibre, wifi network.
The larger of the two meeting rooms, the Kauri Room opens onto an all-weather deck which leads to our organic garden. The Kauri room is versatile and well-appointed and accommodates a range of seating options. It’s great for all kinds of business and social events. See the Kauri Room seating options.
The Totara Room seats up to eight people and is the ideal space for planning meetings and training, or for more confidential meetings such as interviews and contract negotiation. Catering is served in the adjoining sun room, with access to a private garden seating area.
The Nikau Room seats up to four people and is a great office away from the office or a smaller meeting room space for planning meetings and interviews, with access to a private covered deck and seating area.

Both rooms, exclusive venue hire, or large groups
For a large event for 25 people or more, you need to hire out the entire venue. We can seat up to 30 people theatre-style, and accommodate more for promotional and social events. To get a better idea of the space available for your booking, you can use our venue floor plan. If you’re self-catering, you can also add our domestic kitchen to your booking, which includes a wide range of top-of-the-line cooking equipment.
Short and sweet
Have an meeting pop up at short notice? We may be able to help with our Short and Sweet offering of a meeting room for two hours for up to 14 people. Includes the use of our projector and screen, ultra fast wireless fibre internet, and complimentary water and mints. Available for bookings without catering and during regular business hours.
High speed wifi access
We know the world runs on bandwidth, so we’ve got you sorted. We have the latest Ultra Fast Fibre technology, and for your privacy and security, each meeting room has access to its own secure Wi-Fi network so you can access cloud data quickly and safely.
If you need your meetings or sessions recorded, our partner Any Audio Visual Ltd can hook you up. Literally. Setup and support are covered in the cost, and if you need it, we’ll arrange additional technical support. We can also live-feed between rooms which is great for marketing and research focus groups.
Should you wish to self-cater your event, our kitchen is available to hire including full oven, microwave, fridge freezer, plates, cups, glasses, serving platters and cutlery. Please refer to our catering page for more information.
