After much deliberation, the team at Groundwork Associates (the company which owns The Greenspace) have come to the decision to sell The Greenspace meeting venue property and business as a going concern.
Groundwork Associates provides sustainability consulting and facilitation in the agriculture sector. When Groundwork Associates was established, its offices were located in the current Greenspace venue. In the early days, we made the decision to hire out the meeting rooms that weren’t in use, and the venue business simply grew from there.
Fifteen years on, we’ve been fortunate that Groundwork Associates has grown so significantly. While that’s incredibly positive, it means we’ve come to the point of having to determine where to best channel our resources.
As a result, we’ve made the difficult decision to focus our efforts on growing Groundwork Associates further.
We want to be sure this decision is made carefully, so we’ll be spending the time to find the right investor and making sure the handover process is as smooth as possible. In the meantime it’s business as usual, so please continue to book The Greenspace for your meetings and events. We’ll keep you in the loop on any changes as they happen.
