Our Meeting Rooms
We have three meeting rooms available. These rooms at The Greenspace can be hired individually or in combination. Our comfortable chairs and recycled rimu tables have been selected and designed to maximise seating in a variety of layouts. Feel free to discuss your seating plans with us.
:: The Kauri Room
The Kauri Room is a beautiful 6 x 7 metre room with a high ceiling, plenty of natural light, recycled native timber tables and an adjoining covered deck and garden. It is a lovely space suitable for 12 to 14 people seated boardroom style; about 24 seated in small groups around tables (café or workshop style); or about 35 seated theatre style, without tables. It is also ideal for non-seated social functions of 40 to 50 people. See our venue pack for more information.
The Kauri Room rate includes:
- catering organised on your behalf and served by our staff
- fully integrated data projector, stereo and DVD player with 1.8 metre pull down screen
- whiteboard or A1 size flipchart
- access to covered deck area and garden
- free internet access for one computer
:: The Totara Room
The Totara Room is a light and bright 4.5 x 4 metre room suitable for groups of up to 10 people seated around a beautiful Totara table. The smaller adjoining room can be used for serving food and this opens to a private area of the garden. Ideal for smaller group meetings or as a break out room while using the Kauri Room.
The Totara Room rate includes:
- catering organised on your behalf and served by our staff
- data projector with the ability to project both sound and image from your laptop
- a 2.4 metre wide whiteboard. About half of this board doubles as the screen for the projector
- exclusive use of a lovely area of the garden for your breaks
- free internet access for one computer
:: The Nikau Room

The Nikau room is a light and bright 3 x 3 metre room with French doors opening onto an adjoining deck. This is a cosy and comfortable space for up to four people, often used as a consultant's room, as an off-site location for job interviews, or as a meeting room for small groups. The Nikau Room is also ideal as a serviced office for executives needing a Hamilton base on a short term casual basis.
